Corridor Vol. 30—August 2025 is a milestone celebration of everything this zine stands for: voices unguarded, art unfiltered, and a shared sense of wonder. This month’s theme—belonging where I don’t belong—echoes through every poem, collage, and memory.

Celebrating 25 Volumes of Corridor: A Tribute to Tom Robbins
The March edition of Corridor hits a milestone: Volume 25! So young, so innocent, and ready to take on the world. This month’s Corridor’s cover is by me, Shannon Laws, titled “Roadside Distractions Appear Along a Foggy Corridor.” It seems fitting given the current political environment in the U.S..
Transform Your Workday with Motivational Songs (aka: how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb)
I want some internet at American speed
A mocha steak with a side of potatoes
TV that takes me from Tuesday to need

November Corridor is OUT!
Corridor the FREE poetry and art zine is making its way around town. Home-printed paper copies will be placed in various Tiny Free Librays in Whatcom County, cafes, bookstores, and other shops. Keep your eyes out for them. We are trying to keep copies available at the downstairs breezeway between the Colophon Cafe and Village Books in Fairhaven. However, they go fast.

A non-profit decided to organize it at the last moment. However, the regular, seasoned professional female host was out of the country. The city needed a female host— immediately. Could I messure up to the task?
Poem: Cherry Tree Roots
It would be nice
to pluck that word
stuck in the slit
betwixt my teeth
tongue plays at it
floss won’t reach it
those words
I’m sorry
Poem: Castaway
Morning glows gently
through her Texas accent
It’s about to rain in Seattle
Clouds dark-gray-pregnant with drops
hover over Yesler Way
