Long ride home
Dark road
The radio plays softy
The headlights illuminate
A road we have traveled many times
But never with each other
Communication?
No words, no voice
Communication?
A movement
Between two bodies
In accord
The veil of your spirit
Blows across my cheek
It says a thousand words
Your strength grows
Besides me wrapping me
Like a warm blanket
The bond of love
The ties of friendship
Invisible to the eye
Yet lighting the way
Traveling In the dark
Destination: home
