Whisky Tango Foxtrot: Love is in the Air

This last week, when the Syrian rebels freed prisoners from Assad’s notorious dungeons and a celebration broke out in the streets of Damascus, I thought about the romantic rescue scene in the 2016 Tina Fey movie Whisky Tango Foxtrot.

Corridor Zine’s Festive Cover and Collective Creativity

The second reason I’m excited, more people keep finding the zine and sending us photos and comments. It’s pretty neat. I’m thankful for all the love and attention. More importantly, I’m thankful that it seems the zine is meeting its goal. The goal of Corridor is to connect with complete strangers. Constructive work touches an unsuspecting mind. There are many beautiful micro events in the world, and this is one of them.

Keep your eyes out for them. We are trying to keep copies available at the downstairs breezeway between the Colophon Cafe and Village Books in Fairhaven. However, they go fast.

The In-Between Times

I am all in when it comes to historic costume productions in any genre.  I mean I am here for the dresses and wigs.  Bridgerton does not disappoint.  Their costume designs are colorful renditions of historical clothing and seem to paint the very definition of each character on the fabric.  The Regency era (1795 and 1837) of high society London is reimagined.
