Whisky Tango Foxtrot: Love is in the Air

I wish I could tell my 15-year-old self that all those summer days sweeping leaves, washing throw-up off the rides, and listening to enchanted music (over and over) would be worth it. Good times. Good memories.

Corridor Zine’s Festive Cover and Collective Creativity

The second reason I’m excited, more people keep finding the zine and sending us photos and comments. It’s pretty neat. I’m thankful for all the love and attention. More importantly, I’m thankful that it seems the zine is meeting its goal. The goal of Corridor is to connect with complete strangers. Constructive work touches an unsuspecting mind. There are many beautiful micro events in the world, and this is one of them.

November Corridor is OUT!

Corridor the FREE poetry and art zine is making its way around town. Home-printed paper copies will be placed in various Tiny Free Librays in Whatcom County, cafes, bookstores, and other shops. Keep your eyes out for them. We are trying to keep copies available at the downstairs breezeway between the Colophon Cafe and Village Books in Fairhaven. However, they go fast.

He took off his black RUSH concert shirt. Gave it to the lady, “Here”.  She began to dab my head with it.  My voice left me. I was unable to yell, “NO! I don’t want sweaty rocker sweat in my open wound!” but I thought it.  She ignored all basic first aid protocols, using a crossing motion, and she baptized me in the name of Lee, Peart, and Lifeson.  Brushing off blood and gravel from my face.

October Corridor #20: Discover Local Poetry and Art

Corridor, Vol 18: Shaping My Thoughts – August 2024 Edition

What an outstanding volume this month. I’m so delighted that this little found art project is attracting other artists and poets. Still, I reserve the last page to include a poem of mine. Ya all can’t have all the fun! Thank you all for your contributions and joining me in this enchanting project!

my country tis of thee

Our country has committed so many wrongs, however, it hurts seeing white supremacist in my own town use the American flag as their LOGO for their version of “freedom and truth.” It’s time to take back the flag.
