Salish Sea Poetry Festival presents A Fairhaven Poetry Crawl
I’ll be hosting the event along with award-winning slam poet Ryler Dustin. Come out and join us!
Join us for a free, all-ages “poetry crawl” through the heart of Fairhaven! We’ll start at Village Books at 4:30, then migrate to Stone’s Throw Brewing, Skylark’s Cafe, and the Corner Taphouse–listening to local poets at each stop. After a short reading at each venue, enjoy a drink or snack, visit with poets, and make new friends before moving on with the group. Bring a poem of your own to share during the open mic at our final stop. Full timetable: Village Books (featuring the Village Books Poetry Group) at 4:30, Stone’s Throw (featuring The Bellingham Review) at 5:30, Skylark’s (featuring Whatcom READS & Whatcom WRITES) at 6:30, and the Corner Taphouse (featuring an open mic!) at 7:30. Presented by the Salish Sea Poetry Festival, a branch of the Whatcom Poetry Series.
