WHAT A YEAR! The 10th volume of Corridor is going out this weekend. This is 10 of 13 total volumes. We are in the final stretch of this collaborated found art project. Poem and art submissions are always welcomed.
Corridor is a limited monthly zine published from National Poetry Month 2022 to 2023, April -April. This 10-page, home-printed zine is placed around town, at local shops, cafes, and always at Village Books in Fairhaven.
January Cover Art Meaning
The Corridor Collective pays homage to the estimated 585 people killed in the Mahsa Amini protests in Iran that started in September ‘22 and continues today. We stand with those that stand up for free speech and other personal freedoms.
We send thoughts to the 104 fatalities from the once-in-a-generation extratropical cyclone that occurred December 21-26, 2022 in Central/Eastern America and Eastern Canada.
Also, our thoughts are with California and the 19 lost (as of printing) in the floods.

Elizabeth Jane Pryce was born in England but raised in the
Caribbean until she was fourteen years when she returned to
England. She survived the emotional turmoil of cultural changes, a new family, marriage, and three children, before moving to Bellingham. Jane has lived in the same house for thirty years, is a memoirist, a poet, and a landscaper.

Betty Scott equates writing poems with taking road trips. You load up your car with memories and research and take off. You enjoy the scenery, encounter roadblocks, slow down, back up, take a detour, arrive at a friend’s house who suggests ideas for getting back on track and offers shortcuts. So you cut and run, so to speak, speed up, slow down, listen to music, and return home with deeper tread marks on the tires of your mind, including a-pen-on-paper-draft for your next journey.
