Poem: Many of One

Many of One

by Shannon Laws

I’m going to take your hands on date
Shhhhh….
It’s a secret
I’ll take them to dinner
and feed them melons

Then I’m going to date your eyes
the four of us will visit the pier
watch the sunset
wait for the first star

Your lips are next
both the top and bottom

 Don’t tell the others
