Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah

from The Playhouse to your house!

The new season of The Playhouse starts with a Christmas program.  Not just any program, a Christmas BLUES program, of course.

Boosie finds some songs from our classic friends, Bessie Smith, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Otis Redding, Charles Johnson and more.  Her arms are open wide as she adds in some jazz, local favorites and a beatnik song to spice things up a bit.

This year’s “Story from a Christmas Past” involves quick thinking Aunt’s and some brief nudity that will make you happy this is radio.

Thanks for listening and warmest wishes from the BPCB studios.
